Martial arts is a great way to engage kids at a time where they are most impressionable and fascinated by contact sports. Muay Thai Kickboxing is not only about punching and kicking. Often referred to as the Science of Eight Limbs Muay Thai style kickboxing is the use of feet, hands, shins, elbows and knees for protection and defence in contact situations.
Believed to be one of the most practical forms of martial arts kids Kickboxing will help with their hand and eye coordination, build strength as they carry their own weight, and condition their bodies. They will learn to block and guard, kick, punch and move swiftly.
We provide students with a safe and control atmosphere for them to develop and apply their skills.
Kids learn discipline, self-control, patience and build self-confidence as they practice self-defense. We engage them in partnered and team exercises encouraging social interaction, building trust and actively promoting mutual respect.
Kickboxing and the skills taught in class are for the practice of self-defense and self-defense only.
