FUNDAMENTAL CLASSES

The fundamentals program was created to ensure that novice students will start their jiu jitsu journey with strong foundations. The curriculum focuses on introductory techniques from every position, as well as core concepts in jiu jitsu practice that will aid in the student’s development and progress.

Belt Rank:
– Novice / White Belt

Program Goals:
– Introduce students to positions and grappling
– Build coordination and learn jiu jitsu movements
– Understand fundamental concepts and ideas, surrounding training & technique development

Class structure:
– Beginner jiu jitsu techniques and movements
– Overview of all foundation positions and situations
– Questions and answers
– Positional/situational and live rolling

ALL LEVELS

The All Levels Program is designed to focus on the core techniques that every jiu jitsu practitioner should know. With this program, students will be able to improve their overall jiu jitsu knowledge, improve their movement and coordination, and receive an introduction to more advanced jiu jitsu techniques.

Program Goals:
– Improve overall jiu jitsu understanding for self-defence and competition.
– Introduce students to more advanced jiu jitsu technique and strategy.

– Attacks, defensive techniques, and escapes from every position
– Core concepts and ideas
– Questions and answers
– Positional/situational and live sparring

ADVANCED LEVEL CLASSES

The advanced Level classes gives students the opportunity to take their game to the next level through an in-depth exploration of more advanced jiu jitsu techniques and instruction. Students will also receive an extensive education into modern jiu jitsu practice, as well as less common situations that may arise during a match. Participation in this class is restricted to White Belt 3 Stripes to Black Belt

– Improve student’s overall jiu jitsu knowledge
– Delve into more advanced and modern jiu jitsu techniques
– Build a more complete game

Class Structure
– Attacks, defensive techniques and escapes from every position
– Instruction on advanced jiu jitsu techniques and positions
– Core concepts and ideas
– Positional, situational and live sparring
– Question & answer sessions

NO-GI AND SUBMISSION GRAPPLING

No-Gi jiu jitsu is a fast-paced form of grappling designed to allow members to move more freely. The No-Gi Program is offered in both fundamental, all level and advanced classes (SUBMISSION GRAPPLING). Students will have the opportunity to learn the application of jiu jitsu outside of the gi.

Belt Rank:
– White belts only for Fundamental Classes
– All belts welcome to All Levels Class
– Submission grappling class restirected to blue belts and above

Program Goals:
– Improve overall understanding of no-gi jiu jitsu
– Balance the ability to use techniques for both gi and no-gi situations

Curriculum Includes:
– Attacks, defensive techniques, and escapes from every position
– Core concepts and ideas
– Positional, situational and live sparring
– Question & Answer session
