Adult Programs

Gracie Bankstown provides a comprehensive BJJ program focusing on Self Defense, Sport Jiu Jitsu and fitness. Our instructors deliver expert level coaching in a safe and fun environment regardless of your age, fitness level or skill.

Classes offered to include:

Beginners
Classes target the promotion of fundamental BJJ techniques. These classes emphasize Gracie Jiu-Jitsu self-defense techniques including standing and ground positions, functional exercises and positional drilling.

All Levels
Students who attend this class will learn self-defense and sport jiu-jitsu techniques with opportunities to apply techniques through drilling and sparring.  Students require a fundamental understanding of grappling and basic techniques. These classes will drastically improve your skills, conditioning, strength and mental fortitude as you enter the world of human chess.

No-Gi:
BJJ is traditionally taught in the Gi (Kimono)  No-Gi classes are taught in a rash-guard and shorts making for a faster and less grip intensive class. Classes cover techniques demonstrated in our beginners and all levels classes with more takedowns.
